Glute AI Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Monument LLC, doing business as Glute AI (“Glute AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use the Glute AI mobile application, glute.ai, and related services (the “Services”).

2. Eligibility

Glute AI is intended for adults age 18 and older.

3. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on which Glute AI features you use.

Information you provide

We may collect:

training goals and preferences;
training experience;
height, weight, and other information you choose to provide for personalization;
available equipment and training schedule;
workout history, exercises, sets, reps, loads, exercise swaps, and progression data;
nutrition goals, meal information, and meal photos if you use Fuel features;
messages and information you provide when contacting support.

Scan and visual-progress information

If you choose to use Glute AI’s optional scan or visual-progress features, we may process:

photos you capture or select;
image quality and framing information;
scan-consent records;
derived visual observations and progress-comparison information;
dates and metadata associated with your scans or progress photos.

Glute AI scan features are fitness and progress tools. They are not medical diagnostic tools and are not intended to provide medical body-composition measurements.

If Glute AI gives you a choice about photo retention, the option you select controls whether original photos are retained for private comparison or are not kept after the applicable analysis workflow, subject to temporary technical processing needed to provide the feature. Derived progress information may be retained separately until you delete it or request deletion.

Apple Health

If you separately authorize Apple Health / HealthKit access, Glute AI may access only the data types shown in Apple’s permission flow and used for features you request.

We do not use HealthKit data for advertising.

Subscription information

If you purchase a subscription through Apple, we may receive subscription status, product, purchase-source, and entitlement information from Apple and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment-card number from Apple.

Device, diagnostics, and usage information

We may collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure the Services, such as:

app version;
device and operating-system type;
crash or error diagnostics;
security and session identifiers;
coarse location inferred from IP address where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance;
product-usage and performance events.

We design analytics and diagnostics so that raw scan photos, HealthKit readings, and other highly sensitive user content are not intentionally placed in analytics or crash-report payloads.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

personalize workout plans and progression;
provide workout, Fuel, Scan, and Progress features;
process scans or meal analyses you request;
remember your settings and progress;
administer subscriptions and entitlements;
provide customer support;
maintain, secure, debug, and improve the Services;
prevent fraud and abuse;
comply with legal and platform requirements.

We do not use body-scan photos or consumer health data for targeted advertising.

5. AI and Third-Party Processing

Some optional features may use third-party AI or computer-vision processors.

Before personal data such as a body image or meal image is sent to a third-party AI processor, Glute AI will provide any disclosure and request any permission required for that feature.

Glute AI does not authorize user body-scan images to be used to train generalized AI models unless we provide a new disclosure and obtain any consent required by law before such a change.

6. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to service providers that process data for us only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and operate the Services. These may include providers for:

cloud hosting, databases, and storage;
AI or computer-vision processing requested by the user;
subscription administration, including Apple and RevenueCat;
analytics and product measurement;
crash and error monitoring;
customer support.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

comply with law or valid legal process;
protect users, Glute AI, or others from fraud, abuse, or security threats;
complete a corporate transaction subject to applicable legal protections.

No sale of consumer health data

Glute AI does not sell consumer health data.

Glute AI does not share body-scan photos or consumer health data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Consumer Health Data

Some information processed by Glute AI may qualify as “consumer health data” under state privacy laws.

Where applicable, our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy describes the categories of consumer health data we process, why we process it, how it may be shared, and the rights available to consumers.

8. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining user-requested history, satisfying legal or accounting requirements, protecting security, and resolving disputes.

Scan and progress-photo retention depends on the storage option you select and the technical requirements of the feature. Temporary processing copies are retained only as needed to complete the requested processing, subject to security, retry, backup, and provider-deletion constraints.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the information we process. Measures may include private storage, encryption in transit, access controls, short-lived authorized links, least-privilege access, logging controls, and security monitoring.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to:

request access to personal information;
request correction;
request deletion;
receive a portable copy;
withdraw certain consent;
object to or limit certain processing;
appeal certain privacy decisions.

You can also control Apple Health permissions in Apple settings.

To submit a privacy request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

Where Glute AI provides in-app deletion controls, you may also use those controls.

11. Subscription Cancellation and Data Deletion Are Separate

Deleting Glute AI data or deleting the app does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

Apple subscriptions must be managed or canceled through Apple’s subscription-management tools.

12. Cookies and Web Technologies

glute.ai may use technologies reasonably necessary for:

website operation and security;
fraud prevention;
analytics and performance measurement;
campaign attribution.

We do not intentionally place scan photos, raw body metrics, HealthKit readings, or other consumer health data in advertising URLs, pixels, or campaign parameters.

Where required, we will provide appropriate cookie or consent controls.

13. International Users

If Glute AI makes the Services available in jurisdictions that require additional privacy disclosures or legal bases, we will provide the additional disclosures required for those jurisdictions.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a change materially affects how we use sensitive information, we will provide notice or obtain consent when required by law.
